Cleopatra Talos is a dedicated real estate professional who views the process of buying or selling a home as a profoundly significant decision in people's lives. Her unwavering commitment to a personalized approach and consistent communication ensures that every transaction is efficient, thorough, and enjoyable. With a rich history of success in sales, marketing, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, Cleopatra uniquely blends her international perspective and diverse background with the specific needs of the local real estate market.
Cleopatra boasts an impressive array of designations from the National Association of Realtors, including Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), and Senior Real Estate Representative (SRES).
Educationally, Cleopatra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Magna cum Laude) and a Master of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and was a recipient of the Artist Degree program at the University of Southern California's scholarship program. Born and raised in Bucharest, Romania during the communist regime era, Cleo has always dreamed of a free life. Her mother envisioned her daughter's escape through an international music career—a path that would eventually lead Cleo to the US. Cleo's international music career took her on tours, garnered her accolades in international competitions, earned her an invitation to sing for Mother Teresa, and appointed her as the Romanian Cultural Youth Ambassador to the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. It was during this pivotal experience in Atlanta that Cleo realized her heart belonged in the United States, where she aspired to build her life and raise a family.
In 1999, Cleo embarked on the pursuit of the American dream. Armed with her flute and a bag filled with dreams, she left her family in Romania and moved to Los Angeles at 19 years old. Fast forward to today, Cleo has built a career as a professional classical musician, became an educator, founded Tyson Music Academy in McLean Virginia, and branched out into apparel design and corporate operations in the fine jewelry design sector. She was the first employee of JudeFrances Jewelry and became the Director of Personnel and National Department Stores Executive. She worked to help build the household name for over ten years. In 2006, she founded Valahian Queens, an all-US-made fine leather and semi-precious metals accessories brand that was sold by Nordstrom flagship stores, Nordstrom Online, as well as international boutiques in Europe and Asia.
As a loving wife to a dedicated law enforcement official whose career has moved the family to various US posts and overseas assignments, Cleo is dedicating herself to raising two exceptional boys and finding tremendous joy in discovering new opportunities through the family's eclectic lifestyle. In 2020, the Talos family settled in Fair Oaks Ranch where Cleo decided to finally pursue a lifelong dream: enter the real estate profession. Cleo's firsthand experience of being a local resident and mother of Boerne ISD students underscores the incredible lifestyle that families can enjoy in her community, and her expertise allows her to navigate the highly competitive local real estate market with finesse.
Community engagement, stewardship, and active participation in professional organizations are integral aspects of Cleo's life. She currently serves on the San Antonio Board of Realtors Global Business Committee and the San Antonio Commercial Real Estate Women's Association Communication Committee. Additionally, she is appointed on the Board of Directors for the Hill Country Youth Orchestra and is a passionate advocate for local charities through her involvement with The 100 Women of the Hill Country Organization.
Beyond her real estate pursuits, Cleopatra still finds joy in writing and producing music, performing on live television shows, conducting master classes, and offering free music clinics to various children's organizations, playing tennis, going for runs in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, and fully taking in the blessing of raising a family in Fair Oaks Ranch. She embodies the spirit of a multi-faceted professional who is deeply committed to both her community and her personal passions.
